Compared to last year with an newborn and in the middle of a major move, I'm really feeling like I've got my junk together this time around. I'm showering regularly, getting some really fun design projects under my belt, and really truly feeling the growth of last year. My yearly goal setting and planning may not involve powersheets, trackers, or fancy notebooks, but I can genuinely say I'm excited for what's ahead.
In light of keeping things really simple, I have just a few ideas swirling around in my head that I'm looking forward to fleshing out.
Here's a few things to tackle in 2016:
Get a written piece published.
Continue to take on more brand and design work.
Limit social media in a major way.
Get certified as a Birth Doula.
Save more, give more, spend less.
Continue pursuing healthy rhythms and take care of my body.
Nourish new and old relationships
Monthly date nights for me and Jeremy
At the end of this year, I hope to feel a lot more free. Free from expectations, free from fear of failure, free from shame, free from comparison, free to live fully right where I am, with the people I'm with, in the season I'm in. And the rest? The rest I'm holding with open hands, knowing that really, I'm not the one who makes the plans.
