Well hello! I’ve been knee deep in projects over here and loving every minute of it. If only the little crawler on the floor next to me would think mom's work was just as fun ;). Wanted to share with you today a new brand project that I just finished for Twelve80 Events. Twelve80 is an intimate events company based in Atlanta that specializes in proposals, date nights, and anything else that has to do with keeping that “spark” alive in the relationship.
This project was unique to me because their target market is mainly men, so I was challenged to create a visual brand that reflected that, attracting both men and women alike.
When we started creating a Pinterest board for inspiration, I knew this was going to be a really good fit for me aesthetically. Classic patterns, dark colors, bold fonts and images of celebratory and special, quiet moments between two people – love it. Here's what we started with for our mood board:
Doesn't that just make you want to go on a date?
From there, I created a few variations of a similar concept for Ronisha to choose from with the same color palette we decided on. Ok..more than a few. I guess that’s the way creativity works – sometimes it just spills out.
We finally narrowed down some choices and came up with a final logo, some variations, textures, icons, and fonts to use throughout her brand. I love the way it turned out with the geometric patterns and a mixed color palette that is both playful and professional. What do you think?
You can check out Twelve80 Events’ website that we finished up here before it launches later this month. Oh, and feel free to pin that brand board image if the spirit leads you ;)
// I'm booking a few more brand clients for November and December and I'd love to work with you! Get in touch with me and we'll chat.
